We met at the train station with sunny and cloudless weather at eight o’clock to go to Rome by train. Our Italian exchange partners were in school this day, but we Germans still spoke English.
Arriving in Rome we went on to Circus Maximus by the Metro, where Mrs. Wettig warned us about the thieves. The Circus Maximus isn’t standing there anymore, just the park there shows the outline of this big building. After this we watched the Vesta-temple and the Fortuna-temple on Forum Boarium for a short time. From there it was a short walk to the “Bocca della Verità”.
On the way, Mrs. Wettig threaded us with a Day Report, if we were naughty and curse; this was meant to distribute the Day Reports.
We visited Santa Maria di Trastevere, too. On the square in front of this old church we ate ice-cream, while we enjoyed the sun lying on the ground. A short time later we drove back to the station by light rail, to go back to Ladispoli. In school, the groups went to make their things, like the drama-group, which practiced their sketches; the Video-clip-group finished a power-point-presentation, which shows the way we Germans live our life; the Art-Group painted on the wall in the school. Finally everybody had to join the flash-mob-dance, because we wanted to dance and film it in front of the Colloseum the day after.
We arranged to meet at 21 o’clock in front of the train-station to go to the beach, where we finished the day talking.
